Spring Line???

Several people have asked me about my Spring Line of knit accessories.  I have to admit, it's very hard for me to think about Spring when the ground is covered in snow and ice and the temperature is 5 degrees!  How can I think about what I might want to wear to accessorize my tank top and shorts when right now I'm huddled in my sweaters, scarves, cowl and gloves?  But I'm learning that this is the way of fashion.  I have to be a whole season ahead of the game.  So now I'm stressed out because I realize that instead, I'm a whole season BEHIND the game!

So, I'm putting away my heave wool yarn, and pulling out the lightweight cottons, linens and silks.  I'm going to just cast some on my needles and see what comes of it.  I will let you see my progress as soon as I've made3 some. :)

In the mean time - THINK SPRING!

My mom and dad in Florida - I love this pic!

  2. I am thinking about that too! I've got plans for some home accessories--table runners, throw pillows, and such... but I should look into some silk scarves. :D

  3. I'm always amazed at how fashion designers stay ahead of the game--just how DO they know what will be trending in the future. Love the spring photos--certainly beats looking out at white and brown--again. (Galeaz Glass)

  9. Ahhhh what a lovely vision. Much better than the ice and blowing snow outside my window. I hear it's supposed to get to 70 on Saturday! So maybe then I can start to think of Spring things!

  10. "cottons, linens and silks" sound so great - will make some beautiful things!

Check the Coldwater Creek, Talbots and Chicos sites to see some really cool scarfs for Spring. The look is huge right now, and maybe you'll get some inspiration!

  14. Funny how far in advance we as business owners have to think. I was shocked... and unprepared... when I was asked for St. Patty's Day banners on January 3rd! Whoa!

I can't wait to see what you come up with! Around here I wear scarves ALMOST year round... seriously. But I'm ready to put away the winter colors and break out the pastels :)
